Even the greatest of superhero's have their weaknesses. Golden Rule is no exception.
Her empathy powers can overwhelm her at times, such as in large groups. Movies are especially hard for her. What makes one person feel a little sad, when multiplied by a hundred or more, becomes VERY sad. There is hardly ever been a movie she didn't cry at (even The Simpson's). She uses her circlet to focus her powers, but wearing this would blow her secret identity.
Even the recripication can backfire on her. She tends to be a little emotional and can loose her temper. When this happens, other bad things can happen to her.
Time can only be frozen for a couple of minutes. This will give time to avoid a situation like a car crash, or explain to someone the error of their ways, but it won't give enough time to get out of larger things - such as a building colapse.
Golden Rule has four powers. Two are her strongest powers and two are latent powers. She is still learning how to use these to the best of her ability.
Main Powers:
Empathy - She is an empath. She uses this power to find those in trouble.
Recripication (karma) - As long as she is doing good, good will come to her. Those doing wrong to her will have wrongs done to them.
Latent Powers:
Freeze Time - She can stop time around her. She uses this to explain what someone can do to help or to alter something around her. Unfortunately the freezing only lasts a short time.
Fire - She can produce small fireballs to throw. This tends to happen out of her control if she looses her temper.
There are a few things that Golden Rule uses to assist her. Some are for her benefit, and some are for the benefit of others.
Circlet - This was left to her by her mother, who was also an empath. It helps her focus the emotions she feels to just select persons. This also helps her find those who call for her.
Stopped Watch - Another gift passed down from her mother. It has the ability to freeze time. The watch was magically made, and seems to know on its own just how long to freeze time for. This changes based on each situation.
Badges of Courage - Doing the right thing is usually not the easy thing for people to do. Golden gives these reminders to help people do what is right at even the hardest of times.
